Quinta Gameros
Beautiful art nouveau mansion. A construction of the early twentieth century that was a wedding gift of businessman Manuel Gameros for his wife, who could never inhabit it due to the start of the Mexican Revolution.
Mondays remain closed, so the viewpoints to the 3 Dams are visited instead.
Surprise yourself with the salamanders that decorate the base of the columns and with the central arch with leaded Tiffany stained glass windows that frame the staircase to go up to the rooms. Go through the nine rooms and get to know the original furniture of the time and the Requena collection.
Enjoy the gardens of this mansion used as a residence of Venustiano Carranza, Francisco Villa headquarters, prison, hospital and, now, Cultural Center owned by the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.
