The Mira de Aire caves have over 600 stairs to walk along, mostly downhill.

Part of the tour is spent commuting. From Lisbon to the Mira de Aire caves is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. From there to the Port Mós Castle is approximately 25 minutes. From the Port Mós Castle to Nazaré is approximately 30 minutes and from there back to Lisbon is about 1 hour 30 minutes.
