Typical Ranch (Organic Plantations) It is the cultural stop of the tour. In a rural setting, you’ll visit a traditional home or ranch where you’ll get up close and personal with the local lifestyle. What you’ll do : You’ll see how Dominican Republic’s flagship products like coffee, cocoa (chocolate) and tobacco are grown and processed. Tasting : They usually offer you to try freshly strained coffee, artisan chocolate and the famous Mamajuana (a mixture of rum, honey and herbs that is considered the local elixir). There is also usually a shop if you want to buy these fresh products.

Macau Beach It is the final destination and the most visually stunning point. It is one of the last pristine and public beaches in the area. What you will do: You will have free time (usually between 20 and 30 minutes) to walk along its golden sand, take pictures of its iconic cliffs or just enjoy the sea breeze. Environment : Unlike the beaches of the hotels, here you will see a wild landscape with many palm trees and a perfect surf.

El Cenote (Cave of Crystal Waters) After driving along dirt and mud trails, you will reach an underground natural cave known as Cenote Taíno. What you will do : You can explore the cavern and its rock formations. The highlight is the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in its deep, crystal clear waters. Tip: It is the ideal time to remove dust or mud accumulated during the first part of the journey.
