Banganga Tank is a historic and sacred water tank located in Malabar Hill, Mumbai. This ancient tank, built in 1127 AD, is steeped in mythology and history. According to legend, Lord Rama shot an arrow into the ground, and freshwater sprang up from the spot, believed to be directly connected to the holy river Ganges. The tank is 135 meters long and 10 meters deep, surrounded by stone steps and adorned with ancient pillars.
