"Iron Felix" in Bronze: An imposing, larger-than-life statue of Felix Dzerzhinsky, the controversial founder of the Cheka (the very first Soviet secret police and the predecessor to the KGB).
A Hidden Relic: Relocated from its original prominent boulevard in 1999, the monument now stands quietly tucked away in a park on Tynystanov Street, appropriately located near the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
