This is the most important river in town due to the water supply, we will stop for great picture sports from the river and the famous Barranco with its hanging houses.

El Barranco del Rio Tomebamba
Considered the border of the historical town and the modern are, this attraction shows the unique architecture of the XIX century.

El Puente Roto
Our guide will explain about the stories of Cuenca related to the Tomabamba river. In 1960s the flood of the river destroyed all bridges. They rebuilt all but this one.

Pumapungo Museo
Considered the most important museum in town. We will explore the Ethnographic and Archaeological exhibitions and then the in situ archaeological site with its crop terraces.
