The keep of the Collalto castle is one of the few defensive structures that have remained intact in the mediaeval castle together with the two access gates to the south-east and to a terro of the second search wall that was transformed into a bell tower in the 1800s. Castelbrando (in the Middle Ages called Castello della Costa, Castrum Costae) is a castle located in the Italian municipality of Cison di Valmarino (TV). It rises on the slopes of Monte Castello, from which it dominates the villages of Valmareno and Cison. It owes its present name to the ancient Forlì family of the Brandolini, who had the lordship for centuries.
