Itinerary
1
Puerto Madero
Puerto Madero is Buenos Aires’ most modern neighborhood, known for its skyscrapers, upscale restaurants, and bike-friendly waterfront. Once an old port, it now stands as a symbol of urban renewal. From here, the ride heads north, leaving the city behind and moving toward the natural beauty of Tigre. A perfect blend of cityscape, river views, and fresh air.
2
Estacion Retiro San Martin
From this historic station, the train departs toward Tigre. Opened in the early 20th century, Retiro is one of Buenos Aires’ major railway landmarks, known for its grand architecture and busy atmosphere. Boarding the train here is part of the experience—a ride that links the city with the peaceful landscapes of the Delta, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a slower pace.
3
San Isidro
Getting off the train in San Isidro, the scenery shifts—tree-lined streets, historic homes, and a more relaxed pace welcome you. The station retains the charm of another era and offers easy access to the most beautiful spots in the historic center. From here, we hop back on the bikes and continue riding toward the Delta.
4
Plaza Mitre
This charming historic district blends colonial architecture, cobblestone streets, and scenic river views. At its heart stands the iconic San Isidro Cathedral, surrounded by leafy squares and cozy cafés. It’s the perfect spot to pause, take photos, and soak in the peaceful vibe of one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Greater Buenos Aires.
5
Puerto de Frutos
Puerto de Frutos is one of Tigre’s most iconic spots. Originally a market for fruits and Delta goods, today it’s a lively area filled with artisan stalls, home decor, furniture, and regional flavors. With its colors, scents, and textures, it’s the perfect place to explore, find unique treasures, and experience the local spirit of the Delta.
6
Delta El Tigre
Sailing through the Delta is one of the most authentic and relaxing ways to experience Tigre. As we glide between islands and lush canals, you’ll see stilt houses, rustic docks, and the daily life of the locals who live surrounded by water. It’s the perfect moment to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of this unique landscape from within.
7
Paseo Victorica
This scenic riverside path runs along the Luján River and offers some of the best views in Tigre. Along the way, you'll find museums, sculptures, historic homes, and plenty of cafés and restaurants with riverside seating.
8
Museo de Arte de Tigre
Set along the river in a stunning Belle Époque building, the Tigre Art Museum is one of the Delta’s cultural highlights. Once a social club, it now hosts an impressive collection of Argentine art in a setting that’s both elegant and inspiring.
