Your tour manager/driver meets you at 9:00 am in front of Platform 16 at Florence’s train station or from your Hotel. Our first stop is San Gimignano, where you have two free hours to explore this beautiful medieval town, enjoy its charming artisan shops, or view its fabulous Renaissance and contemporary art. At midday, our tour manager takes you to a local farmhouse where you can have lunch and perhaps sample Vernaccia, San Gimignano’s renowned white wine. Indeed, Vernaccia di San Gimignano features among the top wines of Tuscany. After lunch, we proceed to beautiful Siena, where you have until 5:00 pm to visit this magnificent ancient town on your own. Feeling energetic? Climb the Torre del Mangia’s 400-plus steps for a superb 360-degree view over the city. ( Not included service). Marvel at The Duomo’s distinctive black and white marble.
