Among the innumerable options that the Nahuel Huapi National Park offers, there is a little-known route but no less spectacular for that. From Bahía López, 25 km from Bariloche, you can get to the Brazo Tristeza by motor boat. There, if the day is clear, you can see the glaciers at the top of Cerro Tronador, the highest in the park. When we reach the end of this Arm, we descend to land to walk a path through a dense forest, in which species known as the coihue and the cane alternate. Then we arrive at the Frey Stream Cascade. For about 1 hour and 45 minutes (or less, if the starting point is Bahía López) aboard boats such as the catamaran, you will enjoy a narrow fjord protected by the Lopez and Capilla hills, while watching multiple waterfalls and the summit of Cerro Tronador

Mirador Bahia Lopez
Setting sail from Bahía López, you sail through a deep fjord flanked by the Valdivian jungle until you reach the Frey Creek Waterfall. At the end of the arm, you disembark for a low difficulty trek of about 1.5 km through the forest until you reach the Frey Creek Waterfall.
