Your first visit is Wat Chaiwatthanaram, one of the most impressive and picturesque temples in Ayutthaya. Built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong, its symmetrical Khmer-style towers and riverside setting make it a masterpiece of Thai architecture. Climb the steps to enjoy panoramic views over the Chao Phraya River and imagine how this temple once served as a royal ceremonial ground during Ayutthaya’s golden age.
