Uluwatu Temple
Pura Luhur Uluwatu is definitely one of the top places in Bali for witnessing a delightful sunset, with direct views overlooking the beautiful waves of the Indian Ocean and daily Kecak dance performances held at an amphitheatre nearby. Balinese architecture, traditionally-designed gateways, and ancient sculptures all add to Uluwatu Temple's appeal.
Without a doubt, what makes Uluwatu Temple spectacular is its high setting at the edge of a cliff and overlooking the waves of the Indian Ocean. Ulu means the ‘top’ or the ‘tip’ and watu is ‘stone’ or ‘rock’ in Balinese. Several archaeological remains found here prove the temple dates back to around the 10th century.
A small forest surrounds the temple where hundreds of monkeys dwell. They are believed to be the loyal guardians the temple.

Suluban Beach
Suluban Beach is one of Bali’s most unique shores, concealed by natural limestone formations and accessed via steps and log ramps through narrow gaps in the rock. Shaded by a looming cliff face, this small beach may not be ideal for sunbathers, but pro surfers love it as a base to paddle out and ride nearby reef breaks from.
Nicknamed ‘Blue Point’, Suluban Beach lies at the end of Jalan Mamo, in the coastal area of Labuan Sait – the same area shared by famous surf spots Padang Padang and Uluwatu.

Padang Padang Beach
Padang Padang Beach which also known as Pantai Labuan Sait is a famous surf spot on the Bukit Peninsula in Bali, Indonesia.
This beach features an exotic setting; a simply stunning one hundred meter-long stretch of sand that is accessible down a flight of stairs through a unique hollow rock entrance.
Padang Padang Beach has a number of awesome things to check out such as the unique rock caves, tidal swimming pools, secluded beaches and world-class waves!
This beach is also a regular spot for international surfing events, the Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang being the most frequent.
A fun fact: Padang Padang Beach was featured as a romantic setting in the 2010 big-screen adaptation of ‘Eat, Pray, Love’.
Is a 2010 American biographical romantic comedy-drama film starring Julia Roberts as Elizabeth Gilbert, based on Gilbert's best-selling memoir of the same name.

Pasar Ikan Jimbaran
The Jimbaran seafood cafes should be on your list of must-tries during your visit to Bali, especially if you're a seafood lover. Not only is the bay one of Bali’s best places for enjoying memorable sunsets, but it's also a popular coast to enjoy grilled seafood. Over a dozen seafood cafes line the white-sand beach, which is locally known as Pantai Muaya.
Mostly open from afternoon until late, each Jimbaran seafood cafe serves freshly grilled seafood at candlelit tables laid out on the beachfront. As the sun goes down, the horizon features faint lights from Ngurah Rai Airport and traditional fishing boat lanterns at sea.

Tanah Lot Temple
Pura Tanah Lot is a hugely popular tourist destination. It does have cultural significance to the Balinese, but this can be hard to discern amid the crowds, clamour and chaos – especially for the overhyped sunsets. It's the most visited and photographed temple in Bali; however, it has all the authenticity of a stage set – even the tower of rock that the temple sits upon is an artful reconstruction (the entire structure was crumbling) and more than one-third of the rock is artificial.
For the Balinese, Pura Tanah Lot is one of the most important and venerated sea temples. Like Pura Luhur Ulu Watu, at the tip of the southern Bukit Peninsula, and Pura Rambut Siwi to the west, it is closely associated with the Majapahit priest Nirartha. It’s said that each of the sea temples was intended to be within sight of the next, so they formed a chain along Bali’s southwestern coast – from Pura Tanah Lot you can usually see the clifftop site of Pura Ulu Watu far to the south, and the long sweep of sea shore west to Perancak, near Negara.

Seminyak Beach
Located on the west coast of the southern region of Bali, to the north of Kuta and south of Umalas, Seminyak Beach is relatively quiet during the day. Its cool, sunny and breezy ambience provides a great place for hanging out with your friends, kite flying, sunbathing or swimming.
If being in the heart of Bali’s oceanfront action is your kinda thang, then Seminyak Beach is the place for you. Along this impressive 5km stretch of golden sand, you’ll find beach bars aplenty, five-star hotels and Seminyak’s very best restaurants just footsteps from the waves – not to mention world-famous beach clubs in every direction. Beginning on the outskirts of crazy Kuta, trailing all the way up to the coastal corners of Canggu, Seminyak Beach is a holiday destination in itself. Learn to surf in the gentle whitewash of the waves, soak up the sunshine on a squishy sun bed, or settle into a comfy, colourful beanbag at La Plancha for a round of sundowners – Ibiza-style beats included.
