This is a special activity where you can wear a silk kimono and experience traditional Japanese dance. Choose your favorite from about 800 kimonos; after dressing, simple hair styling and sandals (zori) are provided. Afterward, you can explore Kyoto in your kimono.

- First, you will change into a kimono at a rental shop. - Once you are dressed, we will walk to the Japanese dance experience venue (about a 3-minute walk). - Upon arrival, we’ll start by enjoying Japanese tea and traditional sweets while giving you an introduction to Nihon Buyo (Japanese classical dance). You will learn about its history and key features, explained clearly in English. - After the explanation, it’s time to experience the dance!
