Fes el-Bali has hundreds of guides. Youssra is different — and travelers feel it from the first minute. As one of the only official, state-licensed female guides working in the Fes medina, Youssra offers access that simply does not exist on any other tour: female vendors and craftswomen who speak openly and warmly to her, quiet women's spaces in the medina that male guides walk past without entry, and an honest, personal conversation about Moroccan women's daily life that solo female travelers consistently describe as the most meaningful part of their entire Morocco trip. But this tour stands apart for every traveler, not just women. There are zero commission-driven shop stops — ever. No car...
