⚠️ CRITICAL INFORMATION – READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS TOUR DOES NOT ENTER THE MUSEUM GROUNDS. Please be aware that this tour takes place entirely outside the walls and fences of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum. You will NOT walk through the "Arbeit Macht Frei" gate, nor will you enter the interior barracks or museum buildings. Why this tour? It is designed as an educational alternative for those who want to see the sites that standard museum tours skip (like Monowitz) and for those who were unable to secure official museum entry passes. Our focus is on the topography, the industrial complex, and the history seen from a respectful distance.

Itinerary
1
Krakow
Start your tour with a pickup from Bosacka 18. Then relax in 1.5-hour drive to Auschwitz-Birkenau.
1 hour and 30 minutes
2
Memoriale Auschwitz III (Monowitz)
Our tour begins at Monowitz, where the Nazi regime turned human life into a resource. You will see the remains of the camp where thousands of prisoners, including Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, endured unimaginable conditions while working for the German war machine.
30 minutes
3
Oswiecim
As we move toward the main camps, we pass through the town of Oświęcim. This provides a crucial moment of reflection on the Jewish history of the town before the war and how the local population lived in the immediate shadow of the camps.
30 minutes
4
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
We explore the perimeter of the "Stammlager" (Auschwitz I). Standing by the original fences, you will see the administrative heart of the complex. A key stop is the house of Rudolf Höss, the camp commandant. Seeing where he lived a "normal" family life just meters from the crematorium chimneys offers a profound look at the "banality of evil."
45 minutes
5
Auschwitz-Birkenau - "Judenrampe"
Next, we visit the authentic railway platform located between the camps. This is where most transport trains arrived until 1944. It is a powerful, quiet site where the "selection" of thousands of people took place—a place often missed by standard museum tours.
20 minutes
6
Brzezinka
Auschwitz II-Birkenau (External Exploration): You will witness the overwhelming scale of the largest death camp. From the perimeter and the iconic "Death Gate," your guide will explain the layout of the ruins of the gas chambers and the living conditions of the prisoners.
45 minutes
7
Krakow
Finish your tour and go back to Kraków to the starting point, seeing various landmarks on the way. Travel back to central Krakow and finish with a drop-off in town.
