This part is the distance from the center of our town to the prehistoric caves. The tour is very beautiful, because we will go through the entire mountain where we will be able to observe the flora and fauna of our community. With luck, we can see bulls, horses, owls, goats, sheep, cows, eagles, and different animals that graze in the area. The time described here is the total round trip time of the route.

We visited the prehistoric caves, taking a walking tour that was very relaxing for anyone. Learning about our past through cave paintings is undoubtedly an adventure you can't miss. You'll meet the guardians of this area and they'll tell us anecdotes about the caves, as well as all the mystery, magic, and secrets the place holds. Do you like bats? Hopefully we can see many of them here. It's important for you to know that these caves are more than 10,000 years old and belong to a protected natural area in Oaxaca. As we begin the descent, we will sit at a lookout point to enjoy the view and have a mezcal, to thank the earth and Mother Nature for all that she has given us.
