This is our second meeting point for the ATM Cave tour. It is right where you would turn to go offroad towards the cave. However, it is important you park at the big green store and wait for our arrival. The meeting time here is 8am.

Itinerary

San Ignacio
Begin your day with hotel pick-up in San Ignacio, the lively hub of western Belize. Meet your guide and set out on a scenic drive through the lush Cayo District.
What to bring
-Closed-toe shoes with solid grip (will get wet)
-Swimsuit (worn under tshirt and shorts) – dress modestly
-Socks (required for the dry chamber due to preservation)
-Towel and full change of clothes (stays in vehicle)
-Eco-friendly bug repellent and sunscreen
-Reusable water bottle
-Small dry bag or backpack (remains outside cave-Will get wet)
Government-issued ID (can be digital)
Light snacks (lunch provided around 1 PM)
No cameras, phones, or electronics allowed inside the cave. This rule is strictly enforced by the Belize government for the protection of the cave.

Pass through the peaceful village of Teakettle, where your guide shares stories about local life and the history of this riverside community before continuing to Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve. Optional stop in teakettle for snacks upon request.

Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve
Arrive next to the Tapir Mountain Nature reserve and gear up with necessary equipment provided by us. There are restrooms and changing rooms available at the parking lot.
