During this approximate two mile hike, with some luck, you will be able to see: Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, white faced Capuchin Monkeys, many species of birds, snakes, Armadillos, Coatimundis (a member of the Racoon family often known to beg for scraps) and various other animals that may include Iguanas and Sloths. After our hike in the rain forest we will continue our journey to the La Fortuna Waterfall, a beautiful place with a lot of vegetation around it. Once there it is another hike down (500 steps with some resting areas) to the waterfall base to go for a swim in ...
