Travelers visit Museum along their way to Moynak. The Savitsky Museum, officially the State Museum of Arts named after I.V. Savitsky, is a museum in Nukus, Uzbekistan, known for its vast collection of banned Russian avant-garde art and Karakalpak folk art. It was founded by Igor Savitsky, who saved thousands of artworks from being destroyed during the Soviet era and moved them to the remote city to protect them.
