Stairway to Heaven Trail
Personalized hiking adventure, explore two of the region's most stunning trails—Stairway to Heaven and the Boardwalk Trail—while enjoying breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and the serenity of the great outdoors. Begin your hike with a challenging yet rewarding ascent up the iconic Stairway to Heaven, a section of the Appalachian Trail famous for its steep climb and panoramic views. At the summit, be treated to sweeping vistas of the Kittatinny Ridge and the Delaware Water Gap, offering one of the best views in New Jersey. It’s the perfect spot for photos and a well-deserved rest. After your exhilarating hike up Stairway to Heaven, take a more relaxed stroll along the Boardwalk Trail, a gentle walk through lush forests and wetlands, with elevated wooden boardwalks that offer unique perspectives of the local wildlife and ecosystem. Appalachian Trail - Pochuck Boardwalk
Your tour begins with a comfortable and informative meet-up at the Pochuck Boardwalk trailhead. From there, your experienced guide will lead you on an unforgettable journey across the famous Pochuck Boardwalk—a nearly 1-mile-long raised walkway that allows you to explore the heart of the protected wetlands without disturbing the delicate ecosystem beneath.
As you traverse the boardwalk, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the expansive marshlands, spotting native wildlife like frogs, turtles, birds, and possibly even a deer or two. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the local flora and fauna, giving you a deeper understanding of this unique ecosystem.
At the end of the boardwalk, you’ll arrive at the iconic Pochuck Bridge, an elevated crossing that spans the Pochuck Creek, providing stunning vistas of the surrounding countryside. Pause to snap photos and take in the peaceful atmosphere as you stand atop one of the most picturesque spots in the area.

Bearfort Mountain
Scenic Overlook of Bearfort Mountain, historically known as Bear Ford Mountain, is a mountain ridge extending from Wawayanda State Park northward through Abram S. Hewitt State Forest in West Milford, Passaic County, New Jersey. It is a continuation of Bellvale Mountain in New York. The Appalachian Trail crosses along the ridge into New York. Puddingstone of the Skunnemunk Conglomerate is visible along the ridge.
At an elevation of 1,331 feet (406 m) the ridge is the site of a 68 feet (21 m) high fire lookout tower built by the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.
The mountain was depicted in an 1850 painting by Jasper Francis Cropsey, an American landscape artist of the Hudson River School.

Pochuck Valley Farms
Pochuck Mountain is a ridge in the New York-New Jersey Highlands region of the Appalachian Mountains. Pochuck Mountain's summit and most of its peaks lie within Vernon Township, Sussex County, New Jersey, although the south-western portion of the ridge lies within Hardyston Township, and the north-eastern tip of the ridge extends over the New York state line into Orange County. The ridge marks the eastern edge of the Great Appalachian Valley, and it divides the watersheds of the Wallkill River and its tributary Pochuck Creek. The two rivers meet at Pochuck Neck, marking the terminus of the ridge.
