This is one of the best museum in the country relating to the recent history of South Africa. The museum is self guided. Self explanatory and easy to go through.

This is a good example of the affluent part of Soweto. This is where you will see the beautiful and big homes along side the hostels. Hostels where formally built for migrant mine workers. This will be a drive through.

Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial
This is a memorial site dedicated to the up rising of the children of Soweto of 1976. This when the children were raising their voices about being taught in Afrikaans instead of English. You will walk in the garden of remembrance and see the famous picture of Hector Peterson.
