Visitors to Antelope Canyon must join a local guided tour as these places are located on Navajo land and require local Navajo guides to lead visitors in. Visitors walk or take a vehicle to the entrance of Antelope Canyon, then follow the guide through this mysterious land.

This attraction is famous for its unique geographical formation, named after the horseshoe-shaped bend formed by the Colorado River at this location. Visitors can walk approximately 0.75 miles (1.2 kilometers) from the parking lot to the viewpoint of Horseshoe Bend. There are no fences or guardrails here, so visitors need to approach the cliff edge carefully to enjoy the view.
