About
The temples at the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park have almost a thousand years of history, so a guided tour is a good way to learn as much as possible about the temples’ art and architecture. On this shared tour, the tour guide takes you to the highlights of the main temples.
Start your tour with an early morning pickup from your Siem Reap hotel and travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park in the comfort of an air-conditioned minibus. Once you’ve purchased your entrance tickets (own expense), head through the little-visited western entrance to experience Angkor Wat at sunrise.
Siem Reap Tour Itinerary: Sunrise & Iconic Temples.
Start your day early with a breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. Watch as the temple's iconic towers reflect beautifully in the surrounding moat. Capture stunning photos before the main crowds arrive.
After sunrise, explore the interior of Angkor Wat, which was originally built as a Hindu temple for Vishnu but later became a Buddhist site.
Discover intricate bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology, the grand galleries, and the impressive central sanctuary.
