Itinerary
1
Tenerife
We will begin our journey with a short drive to reach the first viewpoint in Anaga (ANG). Depending on where you are staying in Tenerife, this stage will take no more than one hour.
1 hour
2
San Cristóbal de La Laguna
We will be passing by the first capital of Tenerife. Today, it stands as the island's largest historical center and is a UNESCO World Heritage site in its entirety. It would be a missed opportunity not to drive through its beautiful streets or stop for a moment to truly connect with the rich history of the Canary Islands.
20 minutes
3
Mirador Pico del Ingles
At this location, we will make two distinct stops at spectacular viewpoints. One of them offers a stunning 360° panoramic view on clear days, providing a full perspective of the island's rugged beauty.
You will also have the opportunity to walk through the relict laurel forest. This is a unique chance to see with your own eyes the ancient endemic species that have survived on Tenerife since before the last Ice Age. It is a living museum of natural history.
30 minutes
4
Mirador de Jardina
Our first stop will be at this panoramic viewpoint. The drive here usually takes about 30 minutes from the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Cruise Port.
20 minutes
5
Parque Rural de Anaga
We will definitely visit a hidden settlement with views reminiscent of Switzerland. Here, the local residents live exclusively in dwellings carved into the cliffs. You will also have the opportunity to visit a small local restaurant and taste traditional Canarian cuisine.
1 hour
6
Las Montanas de Anaga
Driving along the winding roads of Anaga, through natural tunnels formed by the lush vegetation, is a truly special experience. Along our way, we will make many unique and memorable stops.
1 hour
7
Taganana
This spot is home to three of the most beautiful black volcanic sand beaches in Tenerife. The waves here are consistently strong, but walking along the shore or even playing in the surf is always a fantastic experience. Even when it is raining up in the Anaga mountains, it is usually comfortable here, and above all, incredibly beautiful. Benijo Beach, located right here, is considered a powerful "energy spot." Don’t forget to bring your swimwear, as we will have plenty of time to enjoy this location.
1 hour and 30 minutes
8
San Andres
We will conclude our visit to Anaga by driving down the mountain serpentines, gradually descending from an altitude of 900 meters to sea level. On our way, we will pass through this cozy town. Many people compare its views to the famous hillside villages of Italy, beautifully perched on the mountain slopes.
30 minutes
9
Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Our route back takes us through the current capital of Tenerife. It is a modern and beautiful city, with a particularly well-developed port area. We will also pass by the famous Opera House, which has become a symbol of Tenerife, designed by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava.
