Baba Bohar is a big, revered banyan tree that you will come upon as you stroll towards the end of Bartan Bazaar. Then, enter the courtyard of Thakurdwara Dariana Mal, which features stunning colonial-style architecture that has impacted much of Amritsar's downtown, and take a trip back in time.

Jallianwala Bagh
Explore Chowrasti Atari, a complex with 32 stores and four passageways that Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib constructed in the 1600s. Proceed to Taksal (mint) in Katra Hari Singh, which was the first mint in Amritsar and used to produce coins under the Sikh regime. The nearby Thakurdwara Raja Tej Singh was constructed in Katra Jamadar by Raja Tej Singh in 1851.
As your trip draws to a close, stroll down Crawling Street, a sombre reminder of the Jallianwala Bagh shooting, in which General Dyer ordered the deaths of hundreds of Sikhs.
