Iquitos Amazon Region
We will pick you up from the Iquitos airport or your hotel. We will then head to the town of Puerto Nanay (also known as Bellavista port) to board a boat to our Tucan Jungle Expedition. We will be sailing around 70 km. During the trip we will see some animals such as turtles and alligators. Once at our hostel, we will have lunch.
Our next stop will be Monkey Island. This island is home to different species of monkeys, such as the capuchin monkey, the masked marmoset, the woolly monkey. We can also spot snakes, "mata mata" turtles and river dolphins.
Next, we will return to our lodge for dinner. At night, we will have a guided walk to observe insects, birds, lizards and other nocturnal animals.
