Colmar
Your adventure starts at Colmar, a true jewel of Alsace. As you enter the old town, you will be welcomed by its cobbled streets, colorful half-timbered houses, and romantic canals. Nicknamed “Little Venice”, Colmar is a living postcard. Your English-speaking guide will show you the secret corners of the city as well as its iconic sites, such as the majestic Saint-Martin Collegiate Church, flowery bridges or the workshops of local artisans. At each step, Colmar reveals its history, marked by its medieval roots and its unique blend of French and German influences.
After the guided tour, you will enjoy a free time to explore at your own pace. Stroll along the canals, capture great photos, or enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the typical restaurants. Riquewihr
Your final step is Riquewihr, preserved medieval village, surrounded by vineyards. Often compared to an open-air museum, Riquewihr has retained its 16th century charm with its colorful facades, narrow streets and historic towers. Strolling through its streets, you will have the impression of walking in a movie set. This village is one of the most photographed places in Alsace, ideal for capturing memorable memories.
The stop in Riquewihr will include a tasting in a wine estate. You will discover the great Alsatian grape varieties, such as Riesling, le Pinot Gris ou le Gewurztraminer, while learning what makes their aromas so special. The winemakers welcome you warmly and immerse you in the exciting world of local viticulture.
