The Palmavera complex is located on the promontory of the same name, about 1.5 kilometres from the sea, in the park of Porto Conte, near Alghero. Built of limestone and sandstone, it comprises a central body with two towers, an ante-mural and several huts; today there are fewer than 50, whereas originally there were between 150 and 200.
The main tower was built during the 15th-14th centuries B.C., eight metres high with a diameter of ten, and equipped with a central chamber with a tholos roof and a staircase to the terrace. Later, in the 9th century BC, a second tower and a large meeting hut were added. Among the furnishings, a model nuraghe was found, a copy of which is on display at the site, while the original is at the G.A. Museum. Sanna Museum in Sassari. During the 9th-8th century B.C., a perimeter wall with four towers was built. After a fire, the village was repopulated in Punic and Roman times.

Spiaggia Torre del Porticciolo
The Porticciolo beach, located in a picturesque bay, is crescent-shaped and lies below the northern promontory, dominated by the tower that gives it its name. The shoreline consists of dark amber sand with medium-sized grains, interspersed with small, smooth pebbles of the same colour. At either end, the sand turns into rocks and boulders that plunge into the crystal-clear waters, which vary from emerald green to turquoise and have a shallow seabed with a combination of sand and pebbles. Behind the beach lies the vegetation of the Porto Conte Regional Park. In summer, the beach is moderately frequented, offers good protection from the wind and has a minimal amount of posidonia.

Belvedere Foradada
The Belvedere Foradada, located at Capo Caccia in Alghero, is a spectacular vantage point offering a breathtaking view of the north-western coast of Sardinia. Its privileged position allows one to admire the crystal-clear sea and majestic cliffs, as well as the iconic Isola Foradada, from which the belvedere takes its name. The view from the belvedere is particularly impressive at sunset, when the sun tinges the sky with warm colors and reflects on the water, creating a scene of rare beauty. This place is ideal for a panoramic walk and for those seeking a moment of tranquillity surrounded by nature.
