The Māori Rock Carvings are striking cliffside sculptures on the shores of Lake Taupō, created in the 1970s by Māori artist Matahi Brightwell. Towering over the water, they honor Māori heritage and can only be accessed by boat. Enjoy a scenic cruise across the lake for the best up-close views, combining cultural storytelling with breathtaking landscapes.

Wai-O-Tapu
Visit Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland is one of New Zealand’s most vibrant geothermal parks, famous for its surreal colours and bubbling landscapes.
