We'll start our tour at the impressive Door of Aegina. A work of art created by one of Aegina's celebrated artists. After admiring the elegant Neo Classical buildings that line the coastal road, we'll walk along Aegina's quaint streets towards one of the places where Aegina's cats love to hang out, the tower of Markello. Next stop will be the house of modern Greece's first governor, Jannis' Kapodistrias. We'll get to see where the newly formed government of Greece wrote the first constitution. Then it's pistachio tasting time ! Next stop is another spot where cats love to gather, the fish market ! Finally we’ll see the very impressive building that was originally built as an orphanage.
Not only will you meet Aegina's cat population and get to know how wonderful the Aegean cat breed is, you’ll also gain in-depth knowledge of their home.
