Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a prominent religious landmark located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Named after the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and first President of the UAE, it is one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world.
Construction of the mosque began in 1996 and was completed in 2007. It was designed by Syrian architect Yousef Abdelky and features a fusion of Islamic architectural styles from different regions, including Persian, Mughal, and Moorish.
