The King Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Mbretit, also known as the Sultan's Mosque or Sultan Bayezid Mosque) is one of the oldest and most significant Ottoman-era mosques in Albania. It's located in the historic Mangalem quarter of Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture.

Gorica Bridge
Originally constructed as a wooden bridge around 1780 (some sources cite 1777–1778) during the rule of local Ottoman governor Ahmet Kurt Pasha, who shaped much of Berat's Ottoman architecture.
The wooden structure was vulnerable to floods from the Osum River, so it was rebuilt in durable stone in the 1920s (or early 1930s according to some accounts).
It has been renovated several times, including in 2015 by the Municipality of Berat, and underwent restoration work around 2020–2025 to preserve it as a cultural monument.
Local folklore includes legends about the bridge, such as a sacrificial story tied to its construction (a girl allegedly walled in to appease protective spirits), though these are oral traditions common to many old Balkan bridges.

Sarajet e Vrionasve (also known as the Vrioni Saraj, Vrioni Palace, or Vrioni Tekke/House) is a historic Ottoman-era residential complex in Berat, Albania, located in the heart of the Mangalem quarter. It's one of the most prominent examples of traditional Albanian-Ottoman architecture in the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre of Berat.
