Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha (or Kilimanjaro airport) and a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famed for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. On your first game drive, expect to see zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and perhaps elusive leopards. After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue exploring before checking in at your midrange tented lodge, where you’ll enjoy sunset views, a freshly cooked dinner, and your first night in the African bush.
