Once you've completed the necessary gate registration, embark on a hike through the lush rainforest along a winding trail. At Kisambioni, the trek's midpoint, take a break for a picnic lunch before proceeding through the dense forest. Your day ends at Mandara Hut, which offers stunning vistas of Mawenzi Peak to the northwest and the Taveta landscapes to the east, weather permitting. Mandara Hut, an A-frame structure, can house up to seventy guests and provides beds with mattresses to ensure a restful sleep.
