Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
This tour will start very early in the morning, at 7:30 am. We will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel in Flores or Santa Elena in the Peten department, and we will go to the community called Carmelita, north of Petén. The road is unpaved, and it will take us approximately 3 and a half hours to arrive. Relax, enjoy the road, and rest while we get there. If you don't want to get up early, we recommend staying at the Carmelita Hotel.

Carmelitas
Once we arrive at the community of Carmelita, you will meet the team that will accompany you: the logistics manager, the community guide, the muleteer, and the cooks. Before leaving, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast in a community dining room, and after having recharged energy with the food, we will start our walk. Are you ready for one of the best adventures of your life?

Tintal
To get to this archaeological site, we will start walking for 3 hours in the middle of the jungle. Then, we will rest for a moment and have lunch in the Guacute or La Florida area, depending on the time of year. We will walk for 3 more hours until we reach our base camp in El Tintal.
We hope that when you get to Tintal, you still have energy. If the answer is yes, then we invite you to climb El Henequén pyramid. One of the highlights of this pyramid is that it allows you to have a 360 ° view. You will appreciate the beauty and magnificence of the jungle and in the distance, you will see the archaeological site of El Mirador.
At the end of the day, you will want to rest and refresh yourself. The camp has toilets, showers, a kitchen area, a dining room, and the camping houses have mats and sheets. Rest and prepare for day 2.
