Arusha
The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Tarangire offers all the Big 4, Lion, Leopard, Elephant and Buffalo.
Herds of up to 300 of these mighty mammals are sometimes seen in the park. Tarangire is home to many of the iconic Baobab trees as well as Amarula trees (whose fruit is one of the favourite sweet treats for the elephants!). As the sun sets you will head to set up camp within the national park.
