Elsen Tasarkhai
Today, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Elsen Tasarkhai semi-desert and the Khugnu Khan Natural Reserve. Sand dunes surround this unique region, rolling hills are covered with rare shrubs, and a small forest along a river offers a rare combination of mountains, forests, and Gobi-style landscapes in one destination.
Upon arrival, we explore the area, visit the peaceful Uvgun Temple, and experience the lifestyle of a nomadic family inside a traditional Mongolian ger. Enjoy camel riding, walk along the sand dunes, and relax in the quiet beauty of this serene natural setting—an unforgettable introduction to Mongolia’s countryside.
