Nyerere National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam. You will drive approximately 4–5 hours to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. Upon entering the park, enjoy an en-route game drive while heading toward your accommodation inside the park. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, and several species of antelope. After lunch and some time to relax, depart in the afternoon for a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birdlife along the riverbanks. Later, return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
