Arusha National Park
The first day begins with a pick at your location either in Arusha or Moshi. You will meet with your trip guide and soon you will also meet the crew then drive on a shuttle to Ngongongare gate, starting with registration process to get all required permission on the mountain.
After that you'll have Lunch at the second gate`s Canteen before beginning a long-awaited hike. The hike will start from the park forest and slowly hitting the hills on the way up to the first camp on this route (Mariakamba).
Once you reach at Mariakamba hut the day 1 hike is considered over and the crew will already be there waiting for you to give you a warm chanting welcome to the mountain.
All Huts will be already prepared and well organized, so you'll be introduced to your room for exchanging or taking a nap.
The waiter will be waiting for you to show you to the dinning area ready for having Coffee or Tea and after that you'll have time to rest/explore the camp until dinner and briefing time.
