Ait Ben Haddou
Today after the pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech we will head to the southeast of Morocco, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the spectacular road that connects Marrakech with the southern side of the mountains. Along the way you’ll enjoy beautiful landscapes and traditional Berber villages.
We will then arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where you will meet a local guide for a visit of this historic village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The kasbah is also well known as a filming location for many famous productions such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and The Mummy.
After the visit, you can have lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or continue to Ouarzazate, just about 30 minutes away. In the afternoon, we drive through the beautiful landscapes of the south toward the Rose Valley, where you will spend the night.
