Charles Darwin Research Station
The tour will initiate at your preferred pickup point. Your guide will welcome you with your name signal, which will aid you in identifying him. He will then transport you to the upper part of Santa Cruz Island.
The guide will direct you to the Charles Darwin Scientific Station.
This station is regulated by a crew of two hundred plus educators, scientists, researchers, and supporting staff. The whole staff is devoted to preserving the population of the Galapagos tortoise,
which does not breed sufficiently in their natural environment.
This Interpretation Centre exhibits the breeding program of these giant tortoises in confinement.
Various races of the Galapagos tortoise will be flaunted at this site, and you will become a spectator of the turtles as soon as they are hatched. Meals aren’t arranged in the package. You will need to purchase them at your own expense; however, accommodation in the Santa Cruz hotel will be arranged.
