- Drive through Lake Afdera, the Salt Lake, enjoying the beautiful landscape
Afternoon:
- Arrive in Dalol and visit Lake Asebo where salts are mined
- Observe the salt extraction process
- Drive to Dallol (-130 m) to witness the unique volcanic landscape
- Visit Lake Assal and observe colorful salts mining
- Encounter camel caravans and walk with the Afar people
Evening:
- Enjoy the sunset over the vibrant landscape
- Drive back to Hamedela for Overnight Camping
