Inca Trail
The professional Machu Picchu Andes Tours team will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 am and then head towards Ollantaytambo where you will stop to enjoy your breakfast (on your own). After breakfast, continue your journey towards Piscacuchu km 82. At this point you will meet the expedition team that will accompany you throughout the tour (local cook and porters) and you will have some time to organize and get ready for the hike. Then, pass the checkpoint with your passport and tickets and begin your hike along an easy trail to the Wayllabamba/Ayapata campsite. Along the way, explore the Llaqtapata archaeological site and enjoy your first lunch overlooking the Urubamba River valley and the snow-capped mountains.
At 18:00, at the campsite, enjoy a nutritious dinner.
