Combine a trip to Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater with a camping expedition on this 3-day Safari from Arusha. You’ll start with Serengeti National Park, where you'll go on a game drive and visit a hippo habitat. Day two will take you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll see the crater and spend the night, returning to Arusha on your third day.
After 7:30 a.m. breakfast you'll be picked up on 8 a.m. from your accommodation and have a 6 hour (335km) drive to south part of Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro gate. You'll start game drive and explore the Southern/Central/Seronera Valley; Maasai called it “Serengit” meaning the land of endless plains. Southern Zone has an endless plain accumulated with savannah grassland which provide the wide area throughout the year for the wildlife such as Wildebeest, Zebra, Coke’s Hartebeest, waterbuck, Grant’s and Thomson Gazelle, Impala, to graze. In Seronera Valley there is dotted acacia vegetation which appears in a group like structure known as Kopjes which provides a good vantage for predators spot their prey and a refuge for Hyrax, Pythons and reptiles such as lizards. African Leopard are commonly seen. Lunch at the picnic site and you'll continue to game drive till in the evening where you'll head to Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight.
