Kathmandu isn’t just a place to tick off a map; it’s a living story. In three days, we want to take you beyond the busy streets to find the real soul of the valley. We’ll cover all 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but we’ll do it at a pace that actually lets you soak in the atmosphere. We’ll start with what we call the "Big Four." We’ll climb the steps to Swayambhunath just as the city begins to wake up and the monkeys gather. Later, we’ll head to Boudhanath to join the locals for their afternoon "Kora"—a peaceful walk around the stupa filled with the scent of incense. We’ll also visit Pashupatinath to see the moving evening fire rituals on the riverbanks and walk through the historic Kathmand...

Kathmandu
We’ll start our journey where the city’s story began.
A Morning Above the Clouds: We’ll climb the 365 steps to Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple) just as the morning mist clears. Watching the monks begin their prayers while the "all-seeing eyes" watch over the valley is a moment you’ll never forget.
Step into Royalty: Next, we’ll wander through Kathmandu Durbar Square. We’ll explore the old royal palace and wait by the windows of the Kumari Ghar, hoping for a rare glimpse of the Living Goddess.
Ancient Rituals: In the afternoon, we’ll visit Pashupatinath. It’s a deeply moving place on the Bagmati River where you’ll witness the spiritual fire rituals that have been performed for centuries.
The Circle of Peace: We’ll end our day at Boudhanath Stupa, joining hundreds of locals for the evening "Kora." There’s something so grounding about walking clockwise around the massive white dome as the butter lamps flicker to life.
