Your adventure kicks off at 7:30 AM with a scenic road trip from Labuan Bajo to Denge Village, a journey of approximately 4 to 5 hours through stunning landscapes and vibrant local communities. Along the way, you'll take a break to enjoy a refreshing lunch before preparing for an unforgettable trek to the renowned Waerebo Cultural Village.
The trek from Denge to Waerebo takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on your fitness level. The trail winds through lush forests and gradually ascends from the valley to the hilltop village, offering breathtaking views of green mountains and misty horizons.
Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed with a traditional ceremony at the village chief’s house, a unique cultural experience that offers insight into the heritage of the Manggarai people. Spend the rest of the day exploring the village, engaging with the locals, and learning about their customs, traditions, and daily way of life.
