Arrival in Luxor - Explore the West and East Banks

Valley of the Kings

Upon your arrival at Luxor Airport, our English-speaking representative will meet you to assist with all formalities and transfer you to your hotel. Begin your magical journey through Thebes, the sacred land, with a tour of Luxor's West Bank. Explore the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery for Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, where many of the Pharaohs were laid to rest. Visit the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari

Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture, uniquely carved into the mountainside. Conclude your West Bank tour with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, the towering statues of King Amenhotep III. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Temple of Karnak

After lunch, explore Luxor's East Bank, starting with the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built. The principal temple, dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, dates back to the Middle Kingdom, with references to earlier structures as old as the 3rd Dynasty.

Luxor Temple

Continue to the Luxor Temple, initially constructed by a ruler of the 12th Dynasty and later expanded by the famous King Ramses II. This temple, located at the heart of ancient Thebes, was also dedicated to the chief god Amun-Ra. At the end of your day tour, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in, rest, and relaxation.
