Your safari with Explore Green Africa Safaris begins with an early morning departure from Arusha or Arusha Airport (ARK). After meeting your professional driver-guide, you will embark on a scenic overland journey to the heart of Serengeti National Park, a drive of approximately 7 to 8 hours, including transit through Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This overland route offers an immersive introduction to northern Tanzania’s stunning landscapes. Along the way, you will pass through traditional Maasai villages, rolling highlands, and expansive plains. The journey also includes a picnic lunch stop at the conservation area or Naabi Gate main entrance Serengeti.
Upon entering the park, you will enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or camp in the Central Serengeti. This area is rich in wildlife year-round.
After a rewarding afternoon of wildlife viewing, you will arrive at your accommodation in time to freshen up, enjoy a hearty dinner, and relax in the heart of the African wilderness.
