Day 1: Kathmandu to Lumbini
Start early in the morning from Kathmandu and make your way to Lumbini, which is approximately 280 kilometers (174 miles) away. The journey takes around 7-8 hours by road, depending on the traffic and road conditions.
Upon arrival in Lumbini, check into your hotel and freshen up.
In the afternoon, visit the sacred Lumbini Garden, which is believed to be the exact spot where Lord Buddha was born. Explore the Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and other monasteries and shrines in the vicinity.
Spend the evening strolling around the peaceful gardens and enjoying the serene ambiance.
