Betty's Bay
Betty's Bay is a small coastal town located in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is home to a colony of African Penguins. The penguins can be seen up close as they waddle around, swim in the nearby ocean, and nest in the shelter of the surrounding vegetation. Visitors are advised to keep a respectful distance and not to disturb the penguins or their nests. The African Penguin is listed as an endangered species, and the colony at Betty's Bay is one of the few remaining breeding sites for this species.

Hermanus
From Betty's Bay our next stop is at Hermanus. Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen’s village and the Whale House Museum.
